The amusing question Prince Louis allegedly asked his father, William, at VE Day 80 has been made public by a lip reader.
The celebration of VE (triumph in Europe) Day, which commemorates the Allies’ triumph over Adolf Hitler’s Germany in World War II, began on Monday, May 5.
A few days prior to Thursday’s official VE Day date, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, waved to hundreds of people from the palace balcony as the Red Arrows passed over Buckingham Palace.
The seven-year-old Louis then sat down next to the 42-year-old future King, who was wearing his military uniform, during the VE Day procession.

As they watched the military march, the young royal was seen cutely wiping the wetness off his father’s clothing.
William then appeared to have patted his kid on the leg as he turned to face him.
Nicola Hickling, an expert in lip reading, has disclosed what she believes the topic of the conversation was.
“Look at this,” she told The Sun, “I think it’s going to be quite wet today.”
“Wasn’t this supposed to be fun?” Louis reportedly responded.
William allegedly reacted to the impish remark by insisting, “It is son,” and “You will never forget this.”
“They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back,” he stated.
“It’s not going to be long and I want you to be taking an interest.”
Additionally, according to the lip reader, Princess Kate had a heartfelt message for her 10-year-old daughter Charlotte.
She said, “Doesn’t papa look smart today,” Hickling added.
Prince George, 11, went to a tea gathering for veterans with his parents following the display. Alfred Littlefield, a 101-year-old veteran of the Royal Engineers who served on D-Day, was interviewed.
First, William told veteran Douglas Hyde, who joined the Navy at the age of 18 in 1944, that his son was’very enthusiastic’ to ask the former serviceman some questions after George apparently enjoyed listening in on his father’s talk with Littlefield.
Littlefield’s granddaughter, Samantha Davidson, 58, from Denmead in Hampshire, told PA, “The Prince said George is very interested in finding out about the veterans.”
“George even asked my grandfather how old he was during his service.”
According to her, Littlefield was thrilled to learn about George’s historical interest.
Littlefield added, “I’m very proud.”
In addition to demonstrating his maturity, George also reminded us that he is still a child when he was observed adjusting his hair after his younger brother Louis seemed to remove the Mickey after he flicked it up.
The video, which epitomised brotherly love, went popular on social media.
