Melania Trump’s absence ‘getting worse everyday’

At the inauguration of President Donald Trump, his spouse, Melania Trump, was present; however, it remains uncertain whether she has been spending time in the White House since then.

The First Lady has expressed her intentions regarding her residence in Washington D.C. after her husband’s election victory, stating to Fox News, ‘I will be in the White House. When I need to be in New York, I will be in New York.

When I need to be in Palm Beach, I will be in Palm Beach. My primary focus is to be a mother, a first lady, and a wife. Once we are in on January 20, my duty is to serve the country.’ It is well-known that her son Barron is her utmost priority.

Notably, while Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl, Melania was not accompanying him.

Last month, she was observed accompanying her husband to Los Angeles, where she provided comfort to victims of the wildfires. A video shared on social media captured her speaking Slovenian to a woman, which garnered significant acclaim.

One user commented, ‘It is remarkable to see Melania so much more engaged this time,’ according to the Irish Star. Another remarked, ‘When we communicate with individuals in their native language, they feel acknowledged, they feel heard, they feel the affection! What an extraordinary First Lady.’

A third individual noted, ‘First Lady Melania Trump speaks her native language to console those affected by the wildfires. Even while wearing a ballcap, Melania radiates beauty and grace.’ Melania Trump has been notably absent from the White House during her husband’s discussions with prime ministers and other prominent political figures, and a source has indicated that she is currently occupied with filming her Amazon documentary, as reported by People Magazine.

According to a source, her absence from public view should not be unexpected, as this reflects her lifestyle. The source emphasized that she will not conform to the traditional role of a first lady and has her own vision for her pursuits.

Recently, Melania has only visited the White House due to the filming of her documentary, which has occurred in various locations, including the White House. A political source from Miami informed People that her documentary project was inspired by the significant success of her memoir, titled Melania.

In an interview with Fox, the First Lady expressed her intention to create a film about her life, describing it as remarkable and extremely busy. She informed her agent of this idea and requested that a deal be arranged.

Production commenced in November, and filming is currently underway, capturing her daily life and responsibilities, which she believes are not widely known and will be revealed through the film. According to CNN, Melania attended the Governors Ball but has not engaged in any formal duties as First Lady.

A source noted that both Donald and Melania Trump reside at Mar-a-Lago and have accommodations in the White House; however, she maintains an independent lifestyle, joining him when deemed appropriate at either location. While in Palm Beach, she tends to keep a low profile but occasionally accompanies Donald for dinner.

Michael Wolff, an author known for his critical stance towards the president, claims that Trump’s campaign team was unaware of Melania’s residence. He stated, ‘She does not reside with him. Their time together is minimal.

When she is at the White House or Mar-a-Lago, it resembles a visit. Currently, she primarily resides in Trump Tower.’ This was shared during an appearance on the Daily Beast’s podcast. Wolff further noted that at the Republican National Convention, Melania ‘would not sit beside him… Her sole appearance on the final day depended on his absence from the VIP box.’

The president has expressed dissatisfaction with authors and publications discussing his marital relationship, even threatening legal action against those who reference anonymous sources. While neither Donald nor Melania addressed Wolff’s claims, Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, openly criticized the author, labeling him as ‘a deceitful individual and a proven fraud.

He consistently concocts narratives from his disturbed imagination, a condition exacerbated by a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has impaired his cognitive abilities,’ Cheung remarked to Newsweek.

Despite the curiosity surrounding her absence, Melania made a public appearance on April 1 at the Women of Courage Award Ceremony, where she received a warm welcome in a leopard-print dress. During her speech, she expressed, ‘Love has inspired me to embrace forgiveness, nurture empathy, and exhibit bravery in the face of unforeseen obstacles.

Today, we celebrate courage — a strength that is based in love.’ The First Lady further remarked, ‘We are honored to join an exceptional assembly of brave women who have shown their love and refuse to let fear or hardship define them. Their collective achievements and dedication move us all.’
