Pam Bondi’s No. 2 Just Dropped The Hammer On Walz, Frey After Lawless Anti-ICE Night In Minneapolis

Reports Wednesday night described the shooting of a Venezuelan national in Minneapolis by an ICE agent acting in self-defense. According to authorities, the individual fled a traffic stop, then — along with others who poured out of a nearby house — physically attacked the agent. Faced with multiple assailants, the officer fired a single shot, striking the man in the leg.

The incident came just hours after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered a reckless televised address demonizing ICE agents and pushing a false narrative that they were going door to door targeting “people of color.” Walz’s inflammatory claims — untethered from reality — encouraged activists to harass, follow, and record federal officers, further stoking hostility toward law enforcement.

Of course, anti-ICE agitators then attacked ICE and police officers, right on cue:

A group of violent anti-ICE protesters hurled fireworks and rocks at officers on a Minneapolis block where a federal immigration agent shot a Venezuelan migrant in the leg hours earlier on Wednesday night. [….]

“The crowd is engaging in unlawful acts. They have thrown fireworks at police officers, and at multiple times, gas has been deployed. Police are attempting to disperse this unlawful assembly at this time,” Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said at a press conference late Wednesday.

They also targeted and stripped an ICE vehicle, reportedly taking away information and other belongings, which is quite alarming. They wrote on a car, “The only good agent is a dead agent”:

In addition, apparently, they were also stealing and attempting to break into ICE weapons cases:

Imagine spending your evenings like this…

Well, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has had it. He placed responsibility where it belongs: on the political leadership that fueled the chaos. In pointed remarks, Blanche warned Democratic leaders including Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey would be held accountable for what he explicitly described as an “insurrection:”

ICE operates in thousands of counties without incident. Men and women doing their jobs, protecting us from criminal aliens.

Minnesota insurrection is a direct result of a FAILED governor and a TERRIBLE mayor encouraging violence against law enforcement. It’s disgusting.

Walz and Frey – I’m focused on stopping YOU from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. This is not a threat. It’s a promise.

Perhaps that explains why Minnesota State Troopers were dispatched to Minneapolis:

Then came a weak attempt from Frey to calm the situation, all while still ripping ICE and President Trump, of course.

Frey, while still attacking ICE, told the rioters to “Go home…We cannot counter Donald Trump’s chaos with our own brand of chaos.” He also said, “We cannot be at a place right now in America where we have two governmental entities that are literally fighting one another.”

Mayor, spare us the sanctimony. You helped whip the city into a frenzy, and now you’re pretending to be alarmed by the results. The chaos you decry didn’t appear out of nowhere — it was deliberately cultivated by left-wing activists you empowered and defended. Enforcing immigration law isn’t “chaos” – the “chaos” begins when Democratic officials and their left-wing protest armies resist lawful immigration enforcement.

What we’re seeing now is an all-out attack on federal law enforcement. Besides Blanche, the president himself has just warned Walz and Frey: Back down, knock off the BS, stop attacking ICE agents … or else.

And Donald Trump doesn’t say “or else” without meaning it, in case anyone was still wondering that.
