Little boy takes his own life after being tormented by sick bullies over his teeth and glasses

Sammy Teusch, a ten-year-old boy known for his kindness and joyfulness, suffered two years of persistent bullying at Greenfield Intermediate School in Indiana. He was ridiculed for his glasses and teeth, and the harassment eventually turned physical. Despite numerous requests for assistance from both Sammy and his parents, the school did not take any action.

The day following the identification of a bully at his brother’s soccer match, Sammy requested pancakes, yet tragically took his own life prior to breakfast. There was no note or indication of his intentions—only profound silence and sorrow.

Sammy had recently selected a new pair of glasses, anticipating that they would alter the way others perceived him. Unfortunately, they arrived two days later than expected.

Currently, his grieving family is pursuing justice by filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the school district, calling for accountability and reform. Meanwhile, the bullies continue to attend school, and the officials have chosen to remain silent.

Sammy’s parents are not seeking revenge; rather, they aim to prevent similar incidents from occurring to other children. They believe that by sharing his story, they can inspire change.
