VIDEO: Caitlin Clark Got A Tech After Getting Assaulted By 3 Connecticut Sun’s Players & No One Was Ejected

Everybody in the women’s basketball world knows that Caitlin Clark’s biggest rival is Angel Reese.

Based on what happened on Tuesday, she might have another budding rivalry with another player.

The Indiana Fever were attempting to continue their good play, playing the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday.

The game against the Sun marked the Fever’s second straight outing with Caitlin Clark.

Clark has several other familiar foes in the WNBA, one of whom is Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon, whom she has matched up against multiple times over the years.

At one point in the second quarter, Sheldon was playing physical defense on Clark that Clark clearly thought was worth a foul call. After the play ended, Clark and Sheldon exchanged words before Clark seemed to shove her off before beginning to walk away.

That was just the start of things to come.

Caitlin Clark would become the subject of another controversial play as she got hit in the face by a Sun player. Then, she responded by pushing the player away and was shoved to the ground by Marina Mabrey.

This play resulted in:

A Technical foul for Caitlin
A Tecnical foul for Marina Mabrey
A Flagrant foul for Tina Charles

The Indiana Fever were dealt a huge blow when they announced Clark would miss several weeks with a quad strain.

The team barely hung on without her.

After barely making the postseason last year, most had higher hopes for the squad after offseason moves.

It may take some time, but the Fever could very well make a run to be a contender for the title.
