On Friday, FBI agents apprehended Judge Hannah Dugan, accusing her of deliberately misleading federal officers to assist an individual in evading arrest while he was concealed within the courthouse, as stated by Director Kash Patel.
‘The FBI has taken Judge Hannah Dugan from Milwaukee, Wisconsin into custody on obstruction charges, following evidence of her interference with an immigration arrest operation last week,’ Director Kash Patel announced on X. ‘
We suspect that Judge Dugan intentionally directed federal agents away from the individual to be apprehended in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, thereby enabling him — an undocumented immigrant — to avoid arrest.’ The undocumented immigrant, Flores Ruiz, was subsequently arrested shortly thereafter.
Patel stated, “Fortunately, our agents pursued the suspect on foot, and he has been in custody since then; however, the obstruction by the Judge has heightened the risk to public safety.” Dugan, a circuit judge in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, is the second judge to face arrest by federal authorities during Trump’s administration.
On Thursday, federal officials arrested Democrat Joel Cano, a former judge from New Mexico, for providing shelter to a member of the Tren de Aragua gang, which originates from Venezuela. President Trump has classified this gang, along with MS-13, as an international terrorist organization.
Cano stepped down late last year following the arrest of an undocumented immigrant from Venezuela, who is believed to be affiliated with a criminal organization, residing with his daughter in a secondary residence owned by Cano’s spouse.
A representative from the Administrative Office of the Courts stated that Cano is permanently barred from holding any judicial position, running for a judicial office, or exercising any judicial powers within the state, which includes officiating weddings.
It is perplexing why Democrats persist in jeopardizing their livelihoods, careers, and futures for individuals who have unlawfully entered the country and instilled fear in Americans. Regardless of whether they alter their convictions, the Trump administration will persist in holding accountable those who choose to violate their oaths and contravene our laws by providing refuge to criminal aliens.
